I’ve been a little late in posting these pictures up here as I’ve been contributing to Sew Weekly. This is my Burdastyle Kasia skirt for week 2 of the Sew Weekly challenge with the theme of buttons. Not my favourite make, mainly because it’s a bit small on me at the moment. If I was to make the skirt again, I would definitely omit the zip behind the buttoned up panel as the zip has a tendency to peek up behind the panel. I really think it should have a ‘faux’ button panel instead with a centre back zip which would give it a more flattering and streamlined look. You can just about make out the zip peeking out behind the button panel in this picture below:
Pale blue cotton drill and navy and white striped cotton fabric, both remnants and both from fabric stash, hooray!
Buttons from Fabrics galore. I love these buttons!
